Dr. Archana Gupta is a board certified ophthalmologist. She specializes in cataract, cornea, external diseases and refractive surgery.
She is actively involved in medical and surgical management of various eye diseases including comprehensive eye exams, diabetic and glaucoma evaluation, and dry eye exams.
She performs routine and complex cataract surgery including laser assisted and non-laser assisted, pterygium excision and ocular surface reconstruction, Laser-in-situ keratomileusis (LASIK) and Photorefractive keratectomy (PRK).
She performs various corneal transplants techniques, including Penetrating keratoplasty (PKP), Deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty (DALK), Descemet stripping endothelial automated keratoplasty (DSAEK), and Descement membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK).
She completed Cornea fellowship at University of Minnesota and Ophthalmology residency at University of Buffalo.
Dr. Gupta has authored peer-reviewed journal articles and presented her work at various national Ophthalmology conferences. She teaches residents as a clinical instructor for Nova Southeastern University/Larkin Community Hospital.
She is empathetic, caring and provides individual care to each patient.
